Isabella Fiske McFarlin, Lyra Fiske, and others who are, in one way or another, connected to Quarry Hill Creative Center– Vermont’s oldest (1946) and perhaps most uncategorizable alternative community– have decided to make this “blog” into a literary and arts magazine.

We welcome thoughts on how to improve the magazine, possible name changes for the magazine itself, and contributions from QuarryHillians old, new, and in spirit.

We believe in the creative freedom of the human spirit and in being good to children and animals.

Creativity is joy, and the creative spirit that rejoices in itself is unified with enlightened wisdom.
